About the Role:
In this pediatric outpatient setting, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative team providing high-quality care to children and their families. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting providers with clinical care, patient education, and care coordination in a warm, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and record vital signs and health histories
- Document patient information using electronic medical records
- Administer injections and assist with minor medical procedures
- Monitor and report on patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure adequate supply levels
- Schedule appointments and referrals, prioritizing urgency and availability
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and diagnoses
- Triage patient concerns and respond to phone calls appropriately
- Support physicians with clinical decision-making and care delivery
Requirements:
- Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Previous experience in a pediatric or clinical outpatient setting preferred
