Salary: $110,425.08 – $143,552.60 per year, depending on experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Neurology to join our dynamic team in Boca Raton, FL. In this role, you will collaborate closely with supervising physicians to manage the care of complex, acutely ill neurology patients. You’ll provide expert-level assessments, create and manage care plans, and support patients and families through all aspects of treatment.

Responsibilities:
-Provide direct patient care through in-person visits, telehealth, or other communication platforms
-Perform comprehensive history and physical exams (H&Ps)
-Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
-Develop medical diagnoses and implement evidence-based treatment plans
-Prescribe medications and perform approved procedures
-Educate patients and families on conditions and care plans
-Serve as a clinical leader, managing acutely deteriorating patients
-Collaborate with physicians, staff, and administrators across the health system
-Contribute to quality improvement, research initiatives, discharge planning, and patient flow
-Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations and institutional protocols

Qualifications:
Education:
Master’s Degree in Nursing

Licensure/Certifications:
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – Florida license
Nurse Practitioner National Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – as per specialty
DEA License – required based on role/specialty

Experience:
Minimum 3 years of RN experience
Minimum 3 years of APP (Advanced Practice Provider) experience

Other Requirements:
Must meet all Florida state CEU and licensure compliance
Eligible for medical staff credentialing and privileges at practice location
