A busy and well-established Pediatric office in Greensboro, NC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their clinical team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and families in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain vitals, temperatures, and patient histories
- Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as ordered by the physician
- Collect specimens and assist with basic clinical procedures
- Update immunization records and document patient information in the EMR
- Educate patients and families on physician instructions and wellness information
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and follow infection control protocols
- Assist with maintaining compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, and office policies
Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted North Carolina LPN license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Pediatric or outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
